The International Film Orchestra was founded by renowned conductor, Matthew Hopkins in 2021 and has quickly established themselves as one of the UK's leading orchestras. The orchestra consists of some of the finest players across the UK & Europe, bringing a wealth of experience to any concert platform.

MATTHEW HOPKINS - ARTISTIC DIRECTOR/PRINCIPAL CONDUCTOR
Matthew has established a national and international reputation as both a choral and orchestral conductor, with many acclaimed performances across the UK and in Europe. He has conducted and worked with some of the most renowned orchestras in the UK, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra. Matthew is Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the newly formed International Film Orchestra.
